Men are (required) to be committed to maintain, provide for and protect their women. This clearly implies that men have to protect their women even from abuse that they (men) themselves may cause against their women. "Good women" are obedient/submissive. Submissive to who? "Scholars" debate that good women are submissive to Allah. Ok, fine. When these (good) women work for an employer for a paycheck, what relationship do the women have with their employer? That's right, say it, go ahead.... The woman *submits* to her employer. Exactly! Now, we all know that, employers have no notion of loyalty to their women employees. But women are *willing* loyal to their employers, but they have a huge problem being loyal to their husbands who are required by their oath to Allah to provide for and protect their women! 8:42 : (NOTE how Nouman Ali Khan does not take the proper time to explain "...wa be ma (and because) anfaqu (the men spend) min amwalihim (from their wealth) fa salihatu (so the good women) qanitatu (are obedient) ....". We need to stop this obvious simping to Feminism by convoluting the fact that women who practice Feminism have a major untractable problem on their hands. Let's keep this simple. Men in general are loyal to their oath. Women on the other hand are generally loyal to their feelings. Just like women *choose* to submit to their employer, women need to make an authentic sincere effort at practicing loyalty in submitting to their husband who much more considerate (than the employer), and more than willing to sacrifice for their women.
